Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy involves the use of electrical energy in the process of treating injuries, both acute and chronic.

A large number of different electrotherapy modalities are available for the treatment of injuries. They include, but are not limited to Ultrasound and TENS/APS. Electrotherapy

Ultrasound is used to increase blood flow, decrease the formation scar tissue and help settle localized inflammation.

APS is a high frequency electrical stimulation that helps block the transmssion of pain as well as helps the body to treat the cause.

It can be used for both acute and chronic injuries.
